Last thought on pricing mistakes- if your pricing is delivered by humans, there will be mistakes. The vast majority of pricing professionals I've worked with over the years take great pains to ensure accuracy and do often so so under significant stress and pressure. You must differentiate between isolated mistakes by otherwise excellent employees, versus situations where an individual continues making the same mistakes time and again despite training and remediation. The latter person must be supervised closely and let go if there's no improvement. Isolated mistakes, on the other hand, are an opportunity to learn how the mistake occurred and what can be improved in your training, tools, and templates to avoid others running into the same problem. Your best people catch mistakes in real time and flag them for others awareness and and correction.
